A NCJCL Chapter with High School Students From Across NC (Meet Officers Below!)

Gallant Griffins is the first ever NCJCL (North Carolina Junior Classical League) chapter to ever have students from a diverse number of schools across NC. We were founded in 2018 and have been actively competing at all NCJCL events! Our group is open to all high schoolers in NC who don't have a JCL chapter or the demonstrated interest at their school, but would still like to actively participate in JCL outside of school!
Our chapter meets weekly virtually and attends all events. We have previously won titles in Certamen and 1st Place in Academics for Small chapters state-wide! We also won 2nd Overall for small chapter state-wide as well.
Please contact us if you'd like to join! We're always accepting new members (mostly high schoolers) from schools around the Triangle Area who have taken or are taking Latin and want to compete competitively in Latin (and the classics such as mythology). There are also more opportunities include taking national exams and competing in quiz bowls.
